About Selah Pines
We are a husband & wife team that decided to renovate a 5100 sq foot home located in a Small Amish Community (pop 680).
We had no idea when we started this process that we would have to tear down everything except for the foundation and the exterior walls, it was a complete gut job and we spent about two years doing it all. We included our grown children and extended family and only had to hire out a few small jobs since we were on a very limited budget and wanted to do it ourselves.
I (Mary) designed everything, and my husband (Todd) made it all come to life. We spent hours, days and months trying to bring it all to life and while we had to make some changes due to time and budget restraints, we are so happy with how our Farmhouse looks today.
We named our Farmhouse Selah Pines since Selah means to pause or reflect in the Bible and our 2 acres is nestled among mainly Pine Trees.
We still have much more cosmetic changes to make, but our motto is little by little we will get there.
Selah Pines Farmhouse is our Forever home and we are grateful to be here.
